We are recruiting for multiple dedicated and hardworking Waste Operative to join our team.
The Waste Operative will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient collection, sorting, and disposal of waste materials within local area’s. The Waste Operative must be physically fit and able to walk multiple miles per day.
Responsibilities
- Collect and transport waste materials from designated areas to appropriate disposal sites/vehicles.
- Operate waste management machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks associated with waste handling.
- Report any issues or malfunctions with equipment or processes to the supervisor promptly.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, handling loads safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to following procedures accurately.
