We are currently looking for a number of Warehouse Assistants to assist in the loading, unloading and storage of product.
This role works on behalf of our customers to ensure they are receiving the correct freight at the correct time and upholding our promise of delivering exactly.
Key responsibilities
- Unloading Containers by hand or using machinery
- Working various shifts, Days, Backs and Nights
- Follow all aspects of Manual Handling and safe working policies.
- Handle all freight with care and attention.
- Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight.
- Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting and suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team.
- Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues reported immediately.
- Report all damages and accidents immediately to your line manager.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
The person
- Ideally have previous experience within a logistics or warehouse environment
- Be able to work shifts between 07.00 a.m. and 07.00am (Sunday to Friday)
- Be able to lift and load.
- Be able to work in a team and also independently.
- Must be able to pass a Drug, Alcohol and Fit for work medical
