We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 drivers in the South Tyneside area
The Role:
The role of the HGV Driver involves driving a team of refuse loaders around South Tyneside, the role will involve driving and reversing around narrow streets loading residential waste whilst driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.
Working hours are Tuesday to Friday – 37hrs per week
The Person:
- Experience working within an HGV driving role
- Valid Class 2 driving Licence and Driver CPC
- Good knowledge of the South Tyneside area
- Experience of driving around narrow streets and bends
- Complete daily defect sheets for vehicles
- Follow all company operational procedures
- An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
