We are currently looking to recruit 3 x Warehouse Operatives based in, Carlisle, Cumbria, to work Night SHIFT 10.00 p.m. until 08.00 a.m. loading and unloading parcels in busy distribution company until January 2024
The Role
- Duties will include unloading, packing and sorting all mail items into post codes for delivery guys to take out in the morning.
- Lifting and loading parcels and garments
- Working to timescales
- Scanning parcels using a hand scanner.
- Sorting into correct geographical areas
- Hours of work are Night SHIFT between 10.00.p.m. and 08.00 a.m.
- Starts will be from immediate
The Person
- Ideal candidates will have previous experience working within a busy warehouse but training will be given
- Must be able to work Back shift including some Fridays or Sundays on a rota basis.
- Must be able to lift and load
- Be available for starts immediately until January 2024 – there may be the opportunity for some staff to be taken onto permanent contracts.
- Ideally have a means of transport to be able to reach Kingsmoor Industrial Estate which is not covered by public transport at all times during night shifts.
