The Role

**Please note you must be able to drive and have a D1 on license to drive a Minibus **

  • Manhandling containers (mainly wheeled bins/plastic sacks and boxes) and loading refuse/green waste/recycling into the collection vehicle.
  • Operating the bin-lift mechanism.
  • Following appropriate procedures for the health and safety of the refuse crew, and members of the public.
  • Assisting the driver when manoeuvring and reversing the vehicle
  • Responding politely to approaches from members of the public.
  • Reporting accidents and incidents as required.

The Person

  • Must be able to drive and hold D1 on their license
  • Experience of working in a production or industrial environment
  • Manual Handling experience
  • Checkable work history
