Telemarketing Assistant

A local authority we are recruiting for are currently looking for an experienced, full-time Lead Generator to contact employers and promote apprenticeships.

The Role:

  • Contacting North East employers from a database to promote apprenticeships
  • Promote business benefits of apprenticeships to employers by telephone
  • Booking interviews and meetings
  • To meet challenging sales targets set by the Senior management team
  • General reception duties
  • Providing administrative support to the Business Development Team
  • Typing documents
  • Updating/collating spreadsheets
  • Diary management

The Person:

  • Must have previous experience in a telesales environment
  • Must have previous experience in the administration sector
  • Must have at least 3 GCSE’S Grade A – C or equivalent, including Maths and English
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Customer Service is desirable
  • IAG Level 2 or above is desirable

The position is full-time working the hours of 9 – 5, four days per week
