FLT Driver – Counterbalance

We are looking for 4 x experienced and flexible Forklift truck drivers with a current Counterbalance license to work for a busy distribution company in North Shields

The role

  • Moving pallets, cages and goods using the Counterbalance Forklift truck
  • Loading and unloading
  • Doing daily checks on machine
  • Be flexible to include Handballing goods
  • Keeping areas clean and tidy
  • Be flexible for a variety of start times including days, nights and possible weekend shifts
  • This is on-going work

The person

  • Must be able to produce a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
  • Have previous Forklift experience
  • Be flexible to work on handballing in warehouse if required
  • Be able to travel to South Shields for start times
  • Must be flexible for the shifts
  • Will undertake a basic medical including a drug and alcohol test
