We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to provide Financial/Admin assistance to the Finance Team including both the Sales & Purchase Ledger and assisting the Finance Manager in order to ensure all financial deadlines are met.

The role

  • Updating customer and supplier payment terms & credit limits
  • Assisting with credit control & ensuring invoices are paid to terms
  • Assisting with Accounts receivable and Accounts payable
  • Update cashbook receipts & payments
  • Filing & archiving of Finance documentation
  • Processing of purchase invoices onto Sage 50
  • Full Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Sales invoice processing
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks required by the Finance Manager
  • Debtor details update
  • Creditor details update
  • Updating credit checking on customers

The person

  • Must have Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable experience
  • Sage line 50 experience necessary
  • Have Strong organisational skills
  • High level of professionalism when answering telephones
  • Must be adaptable, conscientious and enthusiastic
  • Professional and friendly attitude to customers and staff
  • Computer literate
  • Construction industry experience preferable but not essential
